Introduction to 825 Alloy Steel

This month, our company exported a batch of 825 alloy steel plates to Uzbekistan. What is 825?

Incoloy 825 is a fully austenitic ferronickel chromium alloy stabilized with titanium, and copper and molybdenum are added. Incoloy 825 is a kind of general engineering alloy, which can resist the corrosion of acid and alkali metals in both oxidation and reduction environments.

The high nickel content makes the alloy have effective stress corrosion cracking resistance. It has good corrosion resistance in various media, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and organic acid, alkali metals such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid solution. The high comprehensive performance of Incoloy 825 is shown in the Nuclear Combustion dissolver with various corrosive media, such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid and sodium hydroxide all treated in the same equipment.
