32750 material is a super duplex stainless steel supplied in the state of hot working and solution annealing. As a super duplex stainless steel, it combines the ideal aspects of austenite and ferrite grades. Higher chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents result in a pitting equivalent value (prEN) > 40, providing pitting and crevice corrosion properties superior to austenitic and duplex stainless steels in almost all corrosion media, and the critical pitting temperature exceeds 50 ° C.

Provided in the annealed state, its yield strength reaches 80ksi (550MPa), which is higher than most austenitic and duplex stainless steel grades. It cannot be hardened by heat treatment, but can be strengthened by cold working. It also has a lower coefficient of thermal expansion and higher thermal conductivity than austenitic steel and is suitable for operating temperatures up to 300 ° C. Alloy 32750 is listed in NACE Mr 0175 for sour service and has obtained ASME Pressure Vessel application certification.
