08Х18Н10Т Elbows Shipped to Latvia, TU U 24.2-13419172-005-2014 with GOST 6032 AMU Test

Haihao Group has finished inspection and shipment of 08Х18Н10Т elbows for a Latvia industrial piping project. This batch includes both long radius and short radius 90° butt weld elbows, all produced in compliance with ТУ У 24.2-13419172-005-2014. Every 08Х18Н10Т elbow is required to pass intergranular corrosion testing following the AMU method of GOST 6032-2003, a mandatory clause specified by the client’s technical dossier.

The 08Х18Н10Т elbow set is built on 133 mm outer diameter, with wall variants of 6 mm, 7 mm and 8 mm. Long radius units adopt R=190 mm, while one short radius elbow uses R=125 mm for compact layout sections. This grade is equivalent to AISI 321, stabilised with titanium to resist sensitisation during welding and high-temperature service. The chemical composition is tightly controlled, with carbon capped at 0.08%, nickel 9–11%, chromium 17–19%, and titanium set at 5C–0.7%.

Strict dimensional tolerances are enforced for each 08Х18Н10Т elbow. Outside diameter tolerance is ±1% generally, with non-end sections allowed up to +3.5% oversize. Wall thickness ranges from -15% to +30% and shall not exceed 5 mm deviation. Ovality is limited to 6%. The bevel preparation follows 30° ±3° angle, with root face kept at 1 mm ±0.5 mm, ready for field butt welding.

Full test documentation is recorded in the MTC for each 08Х18Н10Т elbow. The package covers mechanical property verification, hydrostatic test and 100% ultrasonic inspection. The AMU intergranular corrosion check is the core requirement here, commonly requested for CIS and Baltic region process piping that runs under elevated temperature and corrosive conditions.
