The following are the specific requirements and our solutions:

Material composition requirements: The customer specified precise composition requirements for this batch of ASME B16.9 ASTM A234 GR.WPB pipe fittings, including carbon content (C) not exceeding 0.23%, sulfur content (S) not exceeding 0.020%, phosphorus content (P ) does not exceed 0.025%, and the carbon equivalent (CE) is limited to 0.43%. Other ingredients must comply with A234 standards.

Heat treatment requirements: According to customer requirements, we will normalize, normalize and temper or quench and temper the pipe fittings. The tempering temperature shall not be lower than 620°C to ensure that the material obtains the best mechanical properties and microstructure.

Mechanical property test: If the size of the pipe fitting allows, we will destroy the finished product for mechanical property test. If this is not allowed, samples need to be taken from the extension section of the pipe for testing to ensure that the quality of the product meets the standard requirements.

Sulfur resistance performance requirements: According to the requirements, the sulfur content of seamless pipe fittings shall not exceed 0.010%, welded pipe fittings shall not exceed 0.003%, and forged pipe fittings shall not exceed 0.020%. Excessive sulfur content may lead to brittleness of the material and affect the service life of the product.

Hardness limit: For sulfur-resistant pipe fittings, the hardness must not exceed 250 HV10 to ensure the stability and durability of the product during use.

HIC test: If welded pipe fittings have sulfur resistance requirements, HIC testing is required to evaluate their corrosion resistance in sulfur-containing environments.

Impact test conditions: According to customer requirements, the impact test is conducted at a temperature of -20°C, and the acceptance standard is 27J/20J to ensure that the product has good toughness in low temperature environments.

Provide 3.1 certificate: We will provide a 3.1 certificate that meets the requirements as a guarantee of product quality.
