In recent years, clean energy represented by natural gas is developing rapidly in the world. The East Africa region has attracted the attention of the international energy market due to its rich natural gas resources. In particular, the offshore area in the east of Mozambique has become a new hot spot of global natural gas exploration and development due to its large reserves and good quality.

Mozambique is a country in southeast Africa and one of the least developed countries in the world. As one of the important countries along the the Belt and Road, China attaches great importance to this partner. This year, the world’s first ultra deepwater floating LNG project realized the first ship outward transportation, which is a sign of further deepening cooperation between the two countries with the help of PetroChina.

As a large enterprise specializing in the R&D, production and sales of pipeline engineering supporting products, Haihao Group is a standby member of PetroChina. Haihao Group has played an important role in the Kolor project in Mozambique. Our pipeline engineering supporting products include flanges, steel pipes, pipe fittings, elbows, etc., which can operate stably at ultra-low temperatures and have excellent corrosion resistance. It has been successfully applied to the pipeline of floating LNG carrier. Through this cooperation, Haihao has expanded its business scope, opened the East African market, and will participate in more relevant projects in the future.
