Requirements of ship pipeline

Ship pipeline is the pipeline used to connect various mechanical equipment on the ship,which is used to transmit water, oil, gas and other related working fluids.There are the requirements of ship pipeline:

The material selection of ship pipeline must be inspected and approved by the owner and relevant classification society.

General ships require thickened seamless steel tubes for bilge water piping, deck washing piping, air piping, measuring piping, injection piping, sanitary water piping, seawater piping, fire fighting piping and foam piping.

The smoke exhaust pipe and flange shall be painted with high temperature resistant aluminum powder paint or zinc powder paint, and then the external part shall be wrapped with composite silicate heat insulation material with a thickness of more than 75mm. The surface shall be brushed with high temperature resistant aluminum powder paint twice, and then wrapped with galvanized iron sheet. The surface temperature after wrapping shall not exceed 60 ℃ under the full load of the host.

The fresh water cooling outlet pipe, steam pipe system and steam tracing pipe system of the main engine shall be wrapped with appropriate materials to avoid scalding.

The length of each pipe is appropriate for future maintenance of the pipe system.

Each pipe can only have one elbow. In special cases, there are no more than two elbows. 7. The type of through tank joint pipe shall be approved by the owner.

The material of reducing joint and elbow shall be the same as that of pipe, and the wall thickness shall be at least equal to or greater than the wall thickness of pipe.
