Haihao Group Ships ASTM A105 Fittings and Branch Connection Components to the UAE

Haihao Group has completed a new shipment of forged and threaded pipe fittings for a customer in the United Arab Emirates. The order combines ASTM A105 fittings, stainless steel components, branch connection fittings and threaded accessories in a range of sizes and pressure classes.
For UAE piping projects, component selection often depends on more than nominal size. Material grade, pressure rating, pipe schedule, connection type and dimensional compatibility all need to match the project specification. This shipment was prepared accordingly, with several products supplied in ASTM A105/A105N carbon steel and others in stainless steel grades such as ASTM A182 F316L and ASTM A403 WP316/316L.

Product Range for the UAE Order

The shipment includes threaded fittings, branch connection components, reducing fittings and socket-weld products. The specifications cover sizes from 1/4″ to 4″ and pressure ratings up to 6000 PSI or Class 3000, depending on the product.

Why ASTM A105 Is Widely Used for Forged Piping Components

ASTM A105 fittings are commonly selected for pressure piping applications where forged carbon steel components are required. ASTM A105 covers carbon steel forgings for piping applications, including fittings and other pressure-containing components.
In this UAE order, ASTM A105 and A105N are used for threaded tees, reducing couplings, plugs and branch connection components. The order also includes branch connection components manufactured from ASTM A105N and ASTM A182 F316L. The specified MSS SP-97 fittings cover reinforced branch connection applications, with the actual run and branch dimensions selected according to the customer’s requirements.
MSS SP-97 addresses essential requirements such as dimensions, finish, tolerances, testing, marking and material for integrally reinforced forged branch outlet fittings. The current MSS SP-97-2025 edition covers butt-welding, socket-welding and threaded types.
For this shipment, Haihao Group supplied both carbon steel and stainless steel branch components, including a 3/4″ × 3″ ASTM A182 F316L item and several ASTM A105N configurations.

Stainless Steel Options for Corrosive Service

Carbon steel is not the only material represented in this order. The customer also specified ASTM A182 F316L and ASTM A403 WP316/316L for selected components.
The ASTM A182 F316L branch connection is supplied in SCH 80S, while the ASTM A403 WP316/316L concentric reducers cover SCH 40S and SCH 10S × SCH 40S configurations.
This combination gives the customer flexibility when designing piping systems with different material requirements across the same project. Material selection can be matched to the process medium, temperature, corrosion conditions and applicable project specifications.

Different Connections for Different Piping Requirements

One practical feature of this order is the variety of connection types.
The shipment includes:

• Female-threaded equal and reducing tees
