4.Coverage Range
The coverage range for the type testing must meet the following conditions:
(1)Forming Method Coverage: The forming method of the sample should be the same or similar to the products being tested (e.g., molded rubber expansion joints, wound expansion joints, etc.). Different forming methods cannot cover each other.
(2)Specification and Pressure Rating Coverage: The applicable nominal pressure and nominal size should follow these guidelines:
When PN ≤ 2.5 MPa: DN* ≤ 2DN and PN* ≤ 2.5 MPa.
When PN > 2.5 MPa: DN* ≤ 2DN and PN* ≤ PN.
